In The Name of Allah The most gracious The most merciful.
May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his last and final Messenger
Asalamu Alaykum (Peace be upon you)
Hi everyone. I hope you're all doing great. Today I bring you a video from the series called 'That's Messed up' By Bayyinah institute and Ustad Nouman Ali Khan. It's a short video but you will benefit a lot from it. This is such a great way to get people to think of issues concerning religion.
In The Name of Allah The most gracious The most merciful May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his last and final messenger Muhammad. Asalamu Alaykum (Peace be upon you) For todays topic I have chosen to speak about forced marriages. In some cultures it is normal for fathers to force their daughters to marry the man they want her to marry without giving her any choice and sometimes going as far as to threaten her if she tried to refuse. This is forbidden completely in Islam and that kind of marriage is not considered valid. It was narrated that Buraydah Ibn Al-Haseeb said: A girl came to the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: My father married me to his brother's son that he might raise his own status thereby. The prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gave her the choice, and she said: I approve of what my father did, but I wanted women to know that their fathers have no right to do that
Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 1874. It was classed as saheeh by al-Buwaysiri in Masaabeeh az-Zujaajah, 2/102. Similarly Shaykh Muqbil al-Waadi‘i stated: (It is) saheeh according to the conditions of Muslim. End quote from as-Saheeh al-Musnad, p. 160

In the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon his last and final messenger Muhammed (SAWS) Asalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. It has been a very long time since I have posted anything on my blogs, about 3 or four years actually. I have missed it and have always longed to get back to blogging. I am back for good in shaa Allah. The goal is to blog at least once a week on each of my blogs. Looking back at my blogs reminds me of a time in my life when I had a lot more free time and just wanted a way to teach people the basics of this beautiful religion and earn good deeds at the same time. I have set a schedule for myself and the day that I have chosen to post on this blog is on Wednesdays. In shaa Allah every Wednesday you can expect a new blog post. I would like to pick up right where I left off by posting a beautiful video of a young child reading Quran in a voice like no other. I hope you enjoy.
In The Name of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful.
May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon his last and final messenger.
asalamu alaykum (peace be upon you)
The first words ever revealed to our beloved prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) were
Surah 96 Ayahs 1-2
Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,
These words were not designated for a certain gender or a race or any particular group but rather this qur'an is meant to govern all humanity. With that said, we can conclude that knowledge is something that we cannot be without. We need knowledge to in order to worship Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala in the proper manner.
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an
Surah 25 Ayah 59
He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things).
Surah 39 Ayah 9
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
Surah 58 Ayah 11
O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, rise up Allah will rise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) Knowledge. And Allah is well- acquainted with all ye do.
Abu ad Dardaa (may Allaah be pleased with him) in which he says The Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said: "He who treads a path in search of knowledge Allaah will direct him to tread a path from the paths of Paradise. The Angels lower their wings for the student of knowledge in approval of what he does. All in the heavens and earth and the fish in the depth of the water seek forgiveness for the scholar, and the superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the full moon at night over the rest of the stars. Verily the scholars are the heirs to the Prophets. Verily, the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. All they left behind was knowledge, so whoever takes it, has indeed acquired a huge fortune."
